WME Family and Friends,
We did it! We collected enough donations to give every resident at Briarwood Nursing Rehabilitation a bag filled with toiletry items. Thank you to everyone who made this project a success. The residents were thrilled to receive the items.

I am lost; I hope my owner finds me.
Greetings, Eagles' Nest:
We have several items in the 'Lost & Found' that we would like to reconnect with their owner. All items in 'Lost and Found' will be placed on the stage for their owners to identify and claim them. We ask that parents stop by and check for any lost items before Friday, November 22, 2024.
Thank you for helping us reconnect old friends!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our guest readers who came out today for Jane Mendel Reading Day and read to the classes! Our staff and students loved it! We appreciate you volunteering your time!

Don't forget to come out tonight from 5-6pm for our School Showcase to see what all Williams Magnet has to offer! We look forward to seeing YOU!

Greetings WME Family and Friends,
Good day. We are off to an amazing beginning collecting personal hygiene items for our Toiletry Drive. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. To make this a totally awesome event and to make a major impact in the lives of the 120 residents at Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, we need a few more items.
We still need:
-105 bottles of shampoo
-85 packs of individually wrapped wipes
-65 bottles of lotion
-65 bottles of body wash
-65 tubes of deodorant
-65 tubes of toothpaste
You can get these items at any store of your choice. I've suggested shopping at Dollar Tree because you can get full size items at a lower price point than going to other stores getting trial size. Happy donating!

On Thursday (11/14) the cafeteria will be serving turkey and dressing for lunch! Student's families are welcome to join. If a parent/guardian/staff member is wanting a tray all you need to do is call the front office BY TOMORROW AT 9AM and let them know! This way the cafeteria can ensure they have a meal ready for you! Trays cost 5 dollars a person CASH ONLY !

WME Friends and Family,
We are still in need of personal hygiene products. A special thanks to the families that have already graciously donated. We still need the following items:
-socks
-body wash
-lotion
-toothpaste
-deodorant
-shampoo
We have enough of the following items:
-toothbrush
-comb
-hair brush
Let's encourage our scholars to have a servant's heart and about the importance of helping our local community. Happy donating!

WME 4th and 5th grade students attended the 2024 Red Ribbon Rally on the River. We saw a host of schools perform. We got a chance to listen to bands perform live, watched cheer and dance teams perform with a shared theme, and messages of not doing drugs. Life is a movie, and the students and staff at Williams Magnet Elementary film drug free!

WME Family and Friends, The purpose of a pink out is to raise awareness for breast cancer while supporting survivors and to remember the brave that battled this disease. The students and staff at Williams Magnet Elementary showed tremendous support by wearing pink. Special shout out to our student Hazel and our teachers, Mrs. Gonzalez and Ms. Wakelyn, for wearing the most pink!
