Please join us in collecting and donating personal hygiene products. We plan to make a difference by being able to give each of the 120 residents at Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation a goodie bag filled with items they need. At WME, we woke up drug free. Students and staff celebrated being drug free by wearing pajamas to school.
We have another busy week next week!
October 28th - Any scholar that attended the Fall Festival may dress casual.
October 29th - Any scholar that brought candy for the Fall Festival may dress casual and 4th/5th Costume Day (No mask)
October 30th- K-3 Costume Day (No masks)
October 31st - Pink Out for Breast Cancer Awareness
At WME, we are Jean'ious! We wore jeans to celebrate being drug free. Even our bus drivers are Jean'ious!
K-2nd grade Honors Assembly is happening this Thursday, October 24th!
2nd will start at 8:00am, 1st starts at 8:45am, and K will begin at 9:30!
3-5 Honors Assembly will be this Friday, October 25th!
3rd starts at 8:00am, 4th will begin at 8:45am, and 5th will start at 9:30am!

WME Fall Fest was magnificent! Our PTA rocks! Our school community showed togetherness, and everyone worked as a team to provide a memorable experience for families.
WME Bubble Bash was a blast. Students showed Eagle pride and earned this fun incentive.
CLASS CONTEST ALERT! During the dates of 10/21/2024 - 11/22/2024 any class that has PERFECT attendance will receive a pizza party and the teacher will receive a $10.00 Starbucks gift card.
PERFECT attendance means no absences, tardies or early check-outs, regardless of the reason.

This week, you will receive a letter with your Access Code for the ATLAS site. This Access Code will provide you with a comprehensive view of your scholar's performance on all State-sponsored assessments, such as the ATLAS Summative Assessment taken in the Spring of this year for 3rd - 5th grades. The site will also contain Beginning of the Year Screener data (Release Date TBD) and Intervention reports, ensuring you have all the information you need to make informed decisions about your scholar's academic progress.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your teacher. They will provide assistance or direct you in the right direction.

A couple of date changes to note! If your student attends the Fall Carnival they will be able to wear casual to school on Monday, October 28th! If your student brings a bag of candy to donate for the Fall Carnival (see previous posts) they will be able to wear casual to school on Tuesday, October 29th! Happy Friday! Please remember when you are dropping off in the line in the morning, your child(ren) need to exit the car on the sidewalk side for their safety. We don't want a child getting hit by a passing car in the other lane.
Remember to pull all the way down the lane as far as possible so that we can maximize our drop off area.
Also, if you need to get out of the car to help your child(ren) get out, get materials together, etc., please pull all the way down and park in one of our visitor stops.
