Hello Eagle families!
Our 4th & 5h grade Destination Imagination team is hosting a food drive to benefit the Lunch Box Program at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Lunch Box Program helps students with food insecurity by giving them food to eat over school breaks when students may not have access to a reliable food source.
We will be collecting kid friendly canned items with pop-top rings like ravioli and Vienna sausages, brick style ramen, fruit cups, breakfast bars, and single style oatmeal envelopes. Items can be dropped off in the collection box outside of Mrs. Jackson's door in the 5th grade hallway April 7-18.
Thank you so much!

All after school activities along with after school CARE are cancelled today due to the upcoming weather!

Due to the threat of severe weather moving into our area, LRSD will dismiss school early today, all after-school activities are cancelled, and CARE will be closed. Elementary sites will dismiss at 1:30 p.m., followed by secondary schools at 2:30 p.m. This decision was made in the best interest of students and staff, in consultation with the National Weather Service, LRSD’s Emergency Management and Transportation teams, and surrounding districts. Please note that if tornado sirens are activated during these dismissal times, we will initiate our shelter-in-place procedures, and building doors will be locked until the threat has passed. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Please stay safe.

🚨 Reminder! Students will be out tomorrow for a work/data day. However, LRSD offices will remain open if you need assistance. Enjoy your day off, students! 🎉
