Our Romine Early Childhood Center PTA ❄️Winter Wonderland Ball❄️on last night, Friday, January 17th was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! Thank you to our PTA for sponsoring this event and to ALL of our AMAZING volunteers! We could not have done it without ANY of you! The students, parents and caregivers had on their dancing shoes and showed us all some special moves. Principal Tyrone Harris definitely "moved to the beat of the students drums"! Prepare for picture overload! 🤩

LRSD achieves significant milestone based on latest ATLAS assessment results/cut scores. Div. of Elem&Sec. Ed at ADE announced that LRSD has surpassed the performance threshold outlined by the State & will no longer be required to participate in quarterly Act 1082 check-ins.

Romine ECC PTA presents our..... ❄️"Winter Wonderland Ball"❄️ ❄️WHEN:January 17, 2025
❄️WHERE: Romine ECC
❄️TIME: 5-7 PM
❄️DJ, FUN, MUSIC & DANCING
ATTENDEES:The event is for children ages 8 years and below.
❄️COST: $5 per child, $2 per adult.
Tickets can be purchased in students class with cash or PTA Cashapp. (PLEASE WRITE YOUR STUDENTS NAME & TEACHER) on the Cashapp line.
❄️Multiple photo backdrops will be available for self-picture taking. ❄️Hotdog, chips & drinks provided. (tickets will be used to obtain food)
❄️Advanced ticket purchasing is preferred. Tickets will be dispensed at the door from a prepaid check list. There will be a "Quick check-in line" and a separate "Purchase at the door" line.
❄️Formal wear(Optional): Little suits or tuxedos for boys and fancy dresses or gowns for girls. Think classic elegance with a touch of winter magic! ❄️Optional for inclusion: fun winter-themed accessories like sparkly headbands, cute mittens, festive scarves, or even a little bow tie for added flair."

Out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with surrounding districts, LRSD’s Safety and Security team, First Student Transportation, and the National Weather Service, LRSD will close schools and offices on Thursday and Friday, January 9-10, 2025, due to anticipated inclement weather. Forecasters predict significant freezing/snow conditions moving into our area starting tomorrow. All athletic events are also canceled. In making weather-related decisions, LRSD prioritizes the safety of students and staff.
LRSD staff, please monitor your emails for additional instructions from our Human Resources Department.
As a reminder, LRSD will keep staff and families updated through our App, social media platforms, website, LRSD TV, and our traditional media partners. Stakeholders are encouraged to download the free LRSD App so they never miss a message from the district.

🖍️Countdown to return to school on TUESDAY, JANUARY 7th for the start of the 2025 school year. Things to know: 🐴We are EXCITED TO SEE YOU! 🐴It's cold outside. Dress warm /layers 🐴Drop off time: 7:15 AM-8 AM 🐴Pickup time: 2:30PM- 2:45 PM 🐴All students must be escorted to their classroom and signed in with legible handwriting. 🐴If sick, ex: fever, vomiting, diarrhea the past 24 hours before arrival, please follow school policy of "must be 24 hours free of symptoms without use of medications in order to attend school".
