6th Grade Parents: We are aware there has been some confusion, but 6th Grade basketball tryouts are not being held today. Once we receive clear guidelines and a finalized plan from the LRSD Athletic Department, we will share updated information. Beginning Monday, October 6, students will no longer be permitted to bring scissors to school. While scissors were originally included on the student supply list, we have found that they are not being used appropriately and have also caused issues with our scanners.
Starting Monday, any scissors brought to school will be collected. These will be added to classroom supply sets so that students still have access to scissors when they are needed for instructional purposes.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to maintain a safe and productive learning environment for all of our students.

This week, our students will be taking the Fall Interim Assessments. These tests are an important opportunity for us to measure growth and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
To help students do their best, please make sure your child:
• Arrives to school on time
• Eats a healthy breakfast
