The administration of PHMS has become aware of threats of violence posted to various social media platforms. In response, we've corresponded with LRSD Safety & Security and the Little Rock Police Department. Both reported that there were unverifiable, unsubstantiated threats apparently involving rival factions made regarding a specific high school. There were also rumors of school violence at a local charter school. There have been no threats specific to PHMS. Please know that we'll continue to consider the safety of our staff and students as a top priority. Our policy is to transparently communicate regarding any potential issues at PHMS. We take all threats seriously and will continue take all steps necessary to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.
