Panther Families: This is a reminder to please go to http://www.myschoolapps.com/ and fill out the Free & Reduced Lunch application. Even if you know your family does not qualify, just having the forms filled out can be a big help when it comes to funding for the school year. As a school we need to meet the 50% threshold for responses each year. We are currently at 49.22%. The deadline to meet this threshold is October 1st.

Producer of Till talks to students
Today, as part of the commemoration of the 67th anniversary of the Little Rock Nine, Mrs. Waldron and Ms. Dukes had the opportunity to accompany 22 of our PHMS 8th graders to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts to hear film producer Keith Beauchamp tell about his experiences and efforts in uncovering the truths behind Emmet Till’s story, as he produced the 2022 feature film and documentary, “Till.” Our students were honored to be in the presence of Little Rock mayor, Frank Scott Jr., Robin White, superintendent of Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site, and four members of the Little Rock Nine: Minnijean Brown, Elizabeth Eckford, Carlotta Walls LaNier, and Dr. Terrence Roberts. Our students were great representatives of our school and district and had thoughtful input and interactions throughout the event.
