-What an amazing first week of school! -
Thank you parents and guardians for trusting us with your students. This will be an amazing year!
*When your students come home from school, you might ask: "How was your day at school?" and you might get the answer "fine". You might say "What did you learn today?" and you might get the answer "nothing". *
Well...we have your back! Here are a list of questions teachers suggested that might help spark a conversation about school! :
"What was the most interesting thing you learned today?"
"Is there something you wish you did differently?"
"What is a goal you have for yourself in school this week?" and "How did you do with your goal today?"
"Tell me about a friend you talked to!"
"What is one kind thing you did?"
"Did you read a story today? Tell me what happened in the story!"
"Did you ask any good questions today?"
"When were you most proud of yourself?"
"What do you want to do better tomorrow?"
"Do you have any questions about what you learned today?"
"What was the easiest/hardest thing you did in math today?"
"What did you write about today?"
