Please see the welcome message from our new Part-Time Assistant Principal, Ms. Aimee Young:
Hello there! My name is Mrs. Young and I’m delighted to be joining the Otter Creek team as Assistant Principal.
I earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville and a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I spent my professional career here in the Little Rock School District, where I previously served as a Curriculum Specialist and R.I.S.E Arkansas Trainer of Teachers. I also served as a multi-site Literacy Instructional Coach, an Academic Instructional Facilitator, and a teacher.
This is my 4th year as Assistant principal.
I have always had a passion for children and learning. My goal is to inspire and transform others. During my role at Otter Creek, I plan to motivate and impact students to reach their full potential. I know this can be done with collaboration from students, teachers, and families. I look forward to an awesome year!
