Reminder that we are having our PTA Membership Drive. The class with the most memberships will be awarded a popcorn party!! Partner with us to make this a terrific school year.

Picture Day September 30th!

Fall pictures will be taken on September 30th starting with the lower grades.
**Students are to wear their school uniform for fall pictures.**

Dear Parents/Guardians (All Grade Levels)

Please make sure your child has a set of personal headphones for school. Headphones are an essential supply that students use daily in many of our educational programs to support learning. They are also required during state testing. Having their own set ensures your child is prepared and able to focus without distractions. Thank you for helping us set your student up for success!

Join LRSD Superintendent Dr. Jermall Wright on this Wednesday at Southwest High between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m. for coffee, refreshments, and great conversation with parents, staff, and community members. Today we started a Reading for Education program to help our school raise money. An envelope explaining how the program works has been sent home with your student. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out envelope to school, and they can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. So don't forget to send the filled-out envelope back to school, and thanks for your support.

Hello Otter Parents/Guardians,

This Friday, your student will bring home a very important letter regarding how to access their ATLAS results. This letter contains your student’s unique access code needed to view their academic data.

It is vital that you use this code to log in and review your student’s most recent summative and screener data. Staying informed about this information is an essential part of supporting your child’s academic success.
