October 27-31 is Red Ribbon and Bully Free Week! This week serves as a reminder for all schools across the nation to commit to drug/bullying prevention and education. It is an opportunity to encourage children to make a personal pledge to live drug and bully-free lives. Help our school raise awareness of the negative effects of drugs/ alcohol as well as bullying by participating in our RED RIBBON WEEK activities.

Reminder! 1st 9 Weeks Awards Assembly is tomorrow (10/24): K-2nd 8:30-9:30; 3rd-5th 9:30-10:30
OCE Pink Out Day on Wednesday, October 22! Casual for the cause of cancer awareness. Donate at least $1 to dress out of uniform and wear PINK. Donations benefit The Book and Thread Foundation. Let’s spread awareness, show support, and honor the fighters, survivors, and those we have lost, like our very own Mrs. Tari Anderson.

The weather is finally beginning to turn a bit cooler and jackets may be needed in the mornings. Please have your child (or yourself) check the “Lost & Found” located outside the cafeteria for any missing coats or jackets.
