You OTTER know that we are excited to share the first issue of the OCE Uniform Fashions Magazine! This magazine features Otter Creek students wearing uniforms with flair and fashion. Because we are a uniform school, students can keep up with the trends while still following the school uniform guidelines. We also feature some of our Partners in Education who support student learning and development.

Reminder!! School Picture Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30. All students will be photographed and should wear a school uniform. Headshot photos only.

You OTTER know that students who showed growth or proficiency on the last ATLAS assessment in April were celebrated with a trip to Top Golf on Friday, September 26, sponsored in part by OCE PTA and the school. 🦦🎉⛳️

Don’t forget—headphones are a required school supply! 🎧 They’re needed for state testing and daily learning programs. Please send a pair with your student so they’re ready to succeed. State testing for 3rd-5th grade starts next week.

OCE’s Annual Title 1 Parent Meeting
Thursday, September 25
5:00 pm- 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria to learn what Title 1 means for your family!
Each family in attendance will receive a homework kit & a sandwich meal will be served.

Phones are currently not RECEIVING calls districtwide; outgoing calls and internal calls are not impacted. You will receive an update once the district phone situation is resolved.

No School tomorrow Friday, September 19. We will have parent & teacher conferences from 12pm-6pm. You should have a scheduled time. If not, please contact your child's teacher or the school office 501-447-5800.

Reminder that we are having our PTA Membership Drive. The class with the most memberships will be awarded a popcorn party!! Partner with us to make this a terrific school year.

Picture Day September 30th!

Fall pictures will be taken on September 30th starting with the lower grades.
**Students are to wear their school uniform for fall pictures.**

Students will be able to wear casual clothing for spring pictures which is a full body shot.

Dear Parents/Guardians (All Grade Levels)

Please make sure your child has a set of personal headphones for school. Headphones are an essential supply that students use daily in many of our educational programs to support learning. They are also required during state testing. Having their own set ensures your child is prepared and able to focus without distractions. Thank you for helping us set your student up for success!

☕✨ Java with Jermall kicks off this week! Join LRSD Superintendent Dr. Jermall Wright on this Wednesday at Southwest High between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m. for coffee, refreshments, and great conversation with parents, staff, and community members. Can’t make it this time? Mark your calendar for October 8 at Mann Magnet Middle and November 12 at Terry Elementary. 💙 Everyone is invited!

LRSD serves Breakfast to ALL students at NO CHARGE this school year!! Otter Creek Elementary serves breakfast from 7:05 to 7:35 every morning.
