Otter Creek Elementary Title I Family Engagement Event - STEM WALK
Tuesday, May 6th
5:30-7:30 pm at the school.
Science experiments, Technology, Math games, Build It kits, and more!
Fun for the whole family!

Good evening Otter family,
We’ve noticed an increase in lunches being dropped off at the office and food being delivered through services like DoorDash for students. While we understand the desire to provide your child with their preferred meal, managing these deliveries has become increasingly difficult for our office staff and creates challenges in the cafeteria, including issues with food sharing and student requests.
We kindly ask that you either pack a lunch for your child or take advantage of our school cafeteria, which offers lunch at no charge to all students.
Please note: We will no longer accept food deliveries (such as DoorDash) for students.
If your child has dietary restrictions that cannot be accommodated by our cafeteria, please provide medical documentation from a physician.
You are always welcome to join your child for lunch and may bring food at that time.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive lunch environment.
Sincerely,
Cynthia Collins
Principal

Thanks!

LRSD continues to monitor weather conditions and has NO plans to dismiss early at this time. However, all after-school activities are canceled. If adjustments need to be made to our plans, we will contact you immediately. Please monitor your messages from LRSD for updates. Thanks!

OCE and all LRSD Elementary sites will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Please arrange to be home for bus students and/or plan to pick your child up at the school at 1:30 pm.. Please stay safe.

Due to the threat of severe weather moving into our area, LRSD will dismiss school early today, all after-school activities are cancelled, and CARE will be closed. Elementary sites will dismiss at 1:30 p.m., followed by secondary schools at 2:30 p.m. This decision was made in the best interest of students and staff, in consultation with the National Weather Service, LRSD’s Emergency Management and Transportation teams, and surrounding districts. Please note that if tornado sirens are activated during these dismissal times, we will initiate our shelter-in-place procedures, and building doors will be locked until the threat has passed. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Please stay safe.

We enjoyed so much art and music this week. Several Otters had their art featured at Artistry in the Rock!

🚨 Reminder! Students will be out tomorrow for a work/data day. However, LRSD offices will remain open if you need assistance. Enjoy your day off, students! 🎉
