You OTTER know that we are excited about today's kickoff for Reading in the Rock, a citywide initiative in partnership with the City of Little Rock and Scholastic Education. This collaboration will help students strengthen their reading skills and prevent reading loss by providing engaging print and digital resources. LRSD launched Reading in the Rock during the State of the District address, and we are delighted to send home resources with your student just in time for Spring Break. It's Book Distribution Day!!! Winners received some special treats, a Dog Man poster from the Book Fair, and a FREE kids meal from our Partner in Ed, Chick-Fil-A at Otter Creek!

Due to some remaining icy conditions on secondary bus routes - NO School Fri., Feb. 21st; but Cent. Off. Staff should report on a 2-hour delay. Mon., Feb. 24, classes will NOW be IN SESSION instead of PD to support student learning in light of back-to-back closures. Thank you!

LRSD schools/offices to dismiss/close early Tues., Feb 18th, due to impending inclement weather: Elem. - 11:30AM; Secondary - 12:30PM; & offices close at 1PM.
