In a school filled with incredible teachers, Ms. Quarles has been selected as our 2025–2026 Chicot Teacher of the Year! In addition to serving as one of our outstanding 4th grade teachers, Ms. Quarles generously gives her time and talents to numerous school initiatives. She is our Leader in Me Lighthouse Coordinator, serves on our Academic Leadership Team, and volunteers for a variety of school projects. Happy Win-Win Wednesday!!! Please take a look at our Sister/Brother Group!!! We meet each day in the morning, then back again before dismissal! We are working towards internalizing and applying the 8 habits! We identify a habit each week and discuss how we will meet our goal!!! Right now we are focusing on meeting the goal 3 out of 5 days! Awesome Library Surpise Update! Thanks to the City of Little Rock, the Little Rock School District and all of our partners for Reading in the Rock. Because of this synergy, every single Chicot student, PreK through 5th grade, will get to come and choose 5 FREE brand-new books to keep for their home libraries! We started today with PreK and kindergarten. By Wednesday afternoon, every student will have received their books! Keep your eyes out for all your students' books. Let's create a school full of kids who love to read and read to learn!
