We are applying again for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant, which helps provide after-school and summer programs for our students. These programs support literacy and math, enrichment clubs, social-emotional learning, and provide safe after-school care. To help strengthen our application, we need to hear from our families. Please take a moment to complete the short family survey using the link below. Your feedback helps us design a program that truly supports our students and families. Families are also invited to attend our informational meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 7:50 AM to learn more about the program and share ideas.

If you’re interested in your child participating, please make sure to turn in the consent form by Tuesday, March 10. Forms are available in the school nurse’s office.

Chicot families, our Community Café & Health Fair is back and will take place Tuesday, March 17th from 5:00–6:30 PM at Chicot Elementary & ECC. This event brings together local health providers, LRSD school-based health clinics, and community organizations offering health screenings, mental health and nutrition resources, student activities, giveaways, and free dinner for ALL families. We are proud to partner with so many organizations to make this event possible for our community, and we can’t wait to see you there!
