Hello everyone! Chicot Elementary School Clinic with the City of Little Rock and Community Schools invite you to our Community Cafe Health Fair on March 18th.There will be free health screenings, free dinner, and plenty of activities. Tomorrow's reading theme is WILD About Reading. Students and staff are encouraged to wear animal print or something with their favorite animal on it.

Students had tons of fun dressing like their siblings and friends today for our Reading Spirit Week! Tomorrow's theme is Books Are Better When They Are Shared. Students are invited to bring a stuffed animal or small toy to read with at school.

Students had fun reading the room and each other's shirts today! We also played like Thing 1 and Thing 2 in the library to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. Take a peek at some of our students' smiling faces. Tomorrow's theme is Reading Makes Us See Double. Students can dress up like a sibling or friend. I can't wait to see even more happy kiddos!

Next week is Read Across America Week, and we are celebrating! Every day, there will be trivia questions and contests. Plus, we can show our school and reading spirit by participating in dress-up days! Monday, we will celebrate being able to read the room, literally! Students should wear something with words on it that they and other students can read. It can be as simple as a logo or as complicated as a homemade shirt with their favorite book quote on it. See the flyer for more information about all the other days. Join us in the fun!
