Good Afternoon Cheetahs, Due to continued icy road conditions, all LRSD schools and offices will remain closed on Thursday, January 29. LRSD makes decisions daily after checking road conditions across the city to ensure safe travel. Also, don't forgot our Reading in the Rock Challenge. This is a perfect time to read at least 20 minutes a day! Stay safe and warm. 🐆 📚 ❄️

LRSD wants to hear from you! The Little Rock School District is inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to join upcoming community meetings focused on the FY27 budget. These conversations are a chance to learn more about district priorities, ask questions, and share feedback before final decisions are made. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Rd). The second meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Henderson (401 John Barrow Rd). Both meetings will cover the same information. Come be part of the conversation as we plan responsibly for the future of LRSD.

Student leadership in action. Through Leader in Me, students learn responsibility by taking on real leadership roles at school. At our Leader in Me school, students have many opportunities to lead each day. This is one example of how our students are leading the way.

Please congratulate our Chicot Cheetah basketball team! They are putting in the work to keep improving daily. They were acknowledged at LRSW games on Tuesday night for what they are doing and how hard they are working! They are currently undefeated!!! Coaches, thank you for your efforts and the time you put in with our Cheetah basketball players!!
