Dr. Wright's new reading initiative, Reading in the Rock, has come to Chicot! Every student from Pre-k all the way through 5th grade will get free books to add to their home libraries along with other goodies to help them on their reading adventures. The fun started today! Check your child's backpack and look for all the neat stuff. If your child didn't receive their books and goodies today, don't worry, we are giving out even more tomorrow!

Take a peek at some of our students' smiling faces. Tomorrow's theme is Reading Makes Us See Double. Students can dress up like a sibling or friend. I can't wait to see even more happy kiddos!
