This is a reminder that there will be no school tomorrow as we will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
We encourage you to schedule a conference time with your child’s teacher. If your child’s teacher has not contacted you to schedule, please call me directly at 447-6802 or email me at chris.jackson@lrsd.org.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to support our students and learn more about their growth. We look forward to partnering with you in this important work.
Thank you, Principal Jackson

☕✨ Java with Jermall kicks off this week! Join LRSD Superintendent Dr. Jermall Wright on this Wednesday at Southwest High between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m. for coffee, refreshments, and great conversation with parents, staff, and community members. Can’t make it this time? Mark your calendar for October 8 at Mann Magnet Middle and November 12 at Terry Elementary. 💙 Everyone is invited!

Today at Watson Elementary, we celebrated the journey to high school!
Our teachers proudly wore shirts from their alma maters, showcasing schools from Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, and right here in Arkansas.
A special highlight goes to Mrs. Young and Ms. Johnson, who represented North Little Rock High School and Marion High School.
This celebration reminded our students that every Watson Eagle is on a path of growth—from elementary, to middle school, to high school, and beyond! #EaglesSOAR #WeSeeTheVision #TheWatsonWay

Families,
This is a notice that our cafeteria will be serving fish tomorrow. This item is new to our menu, and we are aware that some students may have allergies. If your student has a severe fish or shellfish allergy, please communicate with the school nurse to let them know the extent to which your child should or should not be near these food items.
Thank you in advance for helping us keep all of our students safe.

For the second week in a row—and for the entire month of August—Ms. Coleman’s 2nd grade is our Attendance Hero: Here. Every day. Ready. On time.
Huge thanks to Ms. Coleman and the families who make this happen day after day! #EaglesSOAR

Watson Families,
Thank you for a great first week of school! A few reminders as we prepare for next week:
School starts at 7:40 a.m. Students should arrive between 7:15 and 7:40 to eat breakfast and get to class on time. After 7:40, students are late; tardies are recorded at 7:45.
Dismissal: If you plan to walk up and pick up your child, please designate them as a walker. Walkers will meet you at the sidewalk stairs near the parking lot. This keeps our exit doors clear so the car line runs smoothly.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation! If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
