
Hello Terry Families! This is a reminder that there is NO school for K-5th students on Friday, March 21st. Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 are OPEN on Friday, March 21st. Spring Break is March 24-28th. School will re-open on Monday, March 31st.

Last week our GT students hosted a wax museum of famous figures. All round winners were 1st place B. Clark as Harriet Tubman. K. Wilson as Naomi Campbell and SG as Misty Copeland tied for second and J. Powell as Kamala Harris was third place. Thank you to Mrs. Wright for leading our GT students!

Another exciting week in Art -- 2nd grade students created clay masks inspired by African mask and artist Kimmy Cantrell and pre-k students worked with texture and fine motor skills!



Story Book Fun after school club celebrated Dr. Seuss by stacking the cats hat. We made predictions and determined our strategy to see who could get stack the most hats! 🧢











Jermaiya, Anniyah, and Kyrie are at Park Plaza open for business until noon. These three students made the Top 25 for the Y.E.S competition put on by Economics for Arkansas with their business plan. The competition is 5-8th grade against schools from all over the state. Their business plan is custom charms for your chargers! Come see them today!




Another great week at Terry! 4th grade used sunlight to trace photos of famous African American portraits, 2nd grade decomposed shapes, 16 students reached the "100 book club," and choir enjoyed this weeks beautiful weather!

🏀 Basketball Schedule Update! This Saturday’s games for the Central Arkansas Elementary Basketball League will tip off at 10:00 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m. Get ready for a great day of hoops—good luck to all the teams! #ReimaginingLRSD #YouthBasketball


LRSD will be closed again tomorrow (Friday, February 21st). However, Monday, February 24th is NO LONGER a professional development day for staff. Monday, February 24th will now be a SCHOOL DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS (PreK-5th). Again, Monday, February 24th is a NORMAL SCHOOL DAY for all students! We will see you MONDAY, Terry Tigers!


Due to some remaining icy conditions on secondary bus routes - NO School Fri., Feb. 21st; but Cent. Off. Staff should report on a 2-hour delay. Mon., Feb. 24, classes will NOW be IN SESSION instead of PD to support student learning in light of back-to-back closures. Thank you!


Due to inclement weather, LRSD Schools/Offices remain closed Thurs., Feb. 20, 2025. Athletic activities also canceled. An announcement will be shared tomorrow about the status of schools Friday. Employees, please monitor emails for updates from HR. Thanks! Stay safe and warm!
