LRSD schools will be closed for students Mon., Feb. 2, due to icy conditions impacting bus routes. Employees will report to work: non-school. staff - 8:30-4:00; school-based staff 8:30-3:30 p.m. Road conditions will be checked again Mon. & families will be notified about the status of school for Tuesday.

Good morning 3rd–5th grade families,
Students in grades 3–5 will take the ATLAS Interim Assessment from February 3–6. It is very important that all students are at school each day and on time (7:40AM) during this testing window.
Due to recent snow days, we have missed instructional time. This assessment helps teachers understand student progress and prepare for the summative assessment in April. Student attendance is essential for accurate results and continued learning.
Please support your child by ensuring daily, on-time attendance and encouraging them to take the assessment seriously and do their best.
Thank you for your continued support.

LRSD wants to hear from you! The Little Rock School District is inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to join upcoming community meetings focused on the FY27 budget. These conversations are a chance to learn more about district priorities, ask questions, and share feedback before final decisions are made. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Rd). The second meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Henderson (401 John Barrow Rd). Both meetings will cover the same information. One of today's rotations during Camp Read-A-Lot was the STAR LAB ⭐️! Students had a virtual experience up to space! Dr. Wright even made his way in, but somehow avoided the 📷! Thank you Mrs. Green, former young astronauts teacher, for giving our students this experience!
Stay tuned for more pictures from today - 🏕️ 🔥 🍫!
