Come to the Zoo's East Parking Lot (via Monroe Drive) any time between 9 AM and 12 PM on Saturday, September 28 to participate! This event is free and open to everyone!
♻️ We will be accepting these clean & dry items:
+ Single-stream recycling (plastic bottles, cardboard, paper, aluminum & steel cans - the regular contents of your home recycle bin)
+ Plastic grocery bags (and other soft plastic like bread bags, shrink wrap)
+ Glass
+ e-Waste (anything with a power cord except fridges & window AC units)
+ Bicycles
+ Shreddable documents
Friendly reminder that ALL of LRSD Romine ECC PreK students MUST have a well-child check up/HSE or physical on file at Romine with nurse Sonya within 45 days of starting school. That date is getting close: September 25th. If the exam has not been completed or turned in, the student WILL NOT be able to attend school and after 10 days of unexcused absences, they will forfeit their seat from the program. We LOVE our students and want them to continue to be a part of our Romine ECC Team. Options:
1. Turned in copy of a "physical exam" that has been completed with the past year.
2. Turned in copy of a recent "physical exam" because your student just had their 4 yo exam and immunizations. All students must have a 4 yo check up.
3. PLEASE contact nurse Sonya immediately at (501) 447-6305 for assistance, questions, concerns by 9/17/24. Thank you 🙏🏽

Day #2 of🐴Romine ECC Grandparents Day was about our precious PREK4 students. It was A packed house as we saw the joy and smiles on our students faces. We continued with our theme "Under The Sea With My Grandparent And Me". Our nutrition team once again did an AMAZING job keeping all on task and ensuring everyone was fed.

Today....🐴Romine ECC celebrated their PreK 3 Grandparents Day! It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Our theme "Under The Sea With My Grandparent And Me" was definitely captured by our committee team and ALL staff were onboard to assist. Our nutrition did an AWESOME job ensuring that our families nutritional needs were met. Also, today is National Encouragement Day! Encouragement was definitely shining through the eyes of our students, parents, aunts, uncle's, cousins, caregivers, staff and all who participated. Be prepared for photo overload 📸!
