Romine ECC had a wonderful first PTA General Body Meeting today! Lots of activities and events planned for the upcoming year. Happy World Teachers' Day!! Romine ECC LOVES our AMAZING Teachers. Thank you for all that you do! World Teachers’ Day has been celebrated since 1994. It is a day to celebrate how teachers are transforming education but also to reflect on the support they need to fully deploy their talent and vocation, and to rethink the way ahead for the profession globally.
Hispanic Heritage Month is continuing to be celebrated during the month of October. There are some exciting events happening at Romine ECC and throughout the community. Today (Saturday) 10/5 is the Hispanic Heritage Celebration at the River Market in downtown Little Rock from 5-8 PM. On (Wednesday) 10/9 Romine ECC is having Spirit Night at On The Border- Chenal Little Rock location.

The Little Rock Zoo welcomes everyone to join us and explore our amazing Zoo. However, during Southern Bancorp Little Rock Community days, we want to give a special shoutout to the folks who live right here in Little Rock. They're the ones who support us with their taxes, making it possible for us to keep the Zoo running smoothly and even improve it with new exhibits. That's why, during these special days, only residents of Little Rock will be eligible for these discounts as a big thank you for their support.
The following are attributes of the program:
A day once per quarter when residents of Little Rock receive a $2 admission per person
Residency proven by driver’s license, ID, or utility bill.
Parking will be $1.
