CHI St. Vincent East Clinic will provide free physicals and immunizations on Saturday, Aug. 17 (see attached flyer). For students who miss receiving a physical today, they can receive one on tomorrow!
Attention: If your student signed up for an athletic physical at Arkansas Childrens Hospital they will be conducted on tomorrow. Students will leave campus at approximately 9:30am. Due to the nature of the trip, it is difficult to penpoint exactly when students will return to campus, so we are encouraging students to bring a lunch in the event that they are off campus for an extended amount of time. If your athlete is unable to bring a lunch from home, do not worry, we will communicate with our cafeteria staff to ensure all students are provided a meal.
Additionally, we will communicate with all teachers so that no student is penalized for any material or instruction that is missed.
As always, we appreciate your cooperation and support! It has been a great first week back!

If your child is in need of a physical for this year, forms are due by Wednesday morning (8/14). Forms should be turned in to the front office or to one of the coaches in the gym. Students will be going to Arkansas Children's on Friday (8/16) for a free physical.

Good morning, schedule pick up will take place today in the cafeteria from 10a-2p for any student that was not able to make it last night. Park near the cafeteria entrance, "Bus Loading Zone" and enter between the Cafeteria and Gymnasium. Teachers will be working in their rooms, feel free to stop in and say "hello"!

Nurses will be available tonight to meet with parents and collect medications during our teacher night at PVMS. Please bring any medication to be given at school in a labeled bottle for us to keep in our office with exact instructions on the label of what time it is to be given at school. We are unable to accept medication from a bag , pocket, purse, etc. Meds must be brought in a labeled bottle per district policy.
We can collect a thirty-day supply of medication only and a parent or legal guardian must be present to count and sign medication in with the nurse each month.
If your student needs an inhaler or epi pen in the nurse office, we will need a current food or allergy action plan to follow if medication needs to be given in nurse office.
We will also be on campus this week Thursday and Friday from 0800 -330 to collect medications if needed.
If your child got vaccines during the summer, please send a copy of vaccine record to the nurse office via email or by your student next week 🙂 All middle school students are required to have Tdap and Meningitis vaccines , unless you have a current exemption letter from the state.
