Parents and Community Members, Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate through managing traffic flow during arrival and dismissal. Our district leadership has been working to coordinate with the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Police Department to ensure that we have Safety Guards. Please know that we are doing all we can to maintain smooth and orderly systems to best accommodate our parents and students. We are unable to assign school staff to work in the street; however, we believe that adhering to the following procedures will help us improve arrival protocols: • All buses will drop off in the front of the building each morning. • The main parking lot is reserved for staff and families who need to park. • All vehicles should maintain a safe and reasonable speed while on campus. • Students who are being dropped off should enter through the east entrance on the rear side of the building. • When dropping students off, please remain in the right lane. • Cars should pull down as far as possible and as directed by the staff. • Students should exit the vehicle to the right. Note: We do not use the left lanes for student drop-off to ensure the safety of students as they approach the building. Please remember to be mindful of vehicles that may approach to the left to pass traffic. Once cones are down, please do not remove them or pass to ensure the safety of students, staff, and other stakeholders. Thank you for being great partners with us in your child’s education. We appreciate all you do to support our school and our learners!
