🎉 Big news! LRSD’s Teacher of the Year, Victoria Golden from Dr. Marian G Lacey K-8 Academy, has been named one of the Top 15 Finalists for Arkansas Teacher of the Year! She’ll be recognized later this month at the Governor’s Mansion, and we couldn’t be prouder. 🏆👏 Way to go, Ms. Golden—you continue to inspire us all! 💙
🥁🔥 Our Lacey Lions are putting in the work! From early morning drills in the gym to focused band practice in the classroom, these students are locked in and ready to represent.
🎉 Check this out! Students from Metro Career Tech built and donated a custom outdoor library and food pantry to Dr. Marian G Lacey K-8 Academy! Led by instructors Toyoshima Gray and Chad Moore, students used their skills in construction and automation to create, decorate, and stock both structures—complete with Lacey’s lion mascot and school sign. 🔨🪚 Real-world skills. Real community impact.
