"A collage of photos showing elementary school students engaged in a cooking activity. The students are working in groups, chopping vegetables, stirring ingredients in a skillet, and following a recipe titled 'Sunrise Skillet.' The photos depict vibrant moments of collaboration and focus, with various ingredients like spinach, peppers, and eggs displayed on the tables. The recipe instructions are visible in one image, detailing the steps for preparing the dish. The setting appears to be a library, with bookshelves in the background, emphasizing a hands-on learning experience." Sunrise Skillet Ingredients: 8 large eggs ¼ cup of skim milk ¼ teaspoon of black pepper Nonstick cooking spray 1 cup of diced fresh mushrooms 1 cup of chopped broccoli florets ½ cup of chopped onions ½ cup of chopped red or green bell peppers 1 cup of shredded low-fat cheese Directions: Crack the eggs into a medium-sized bowl. Add the milk and black pepper to the bowl and beat the mixture well. Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat it on medium. Add the mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook and stir for about 3 minutes. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the eggs are set. Sprinkle the cheese over the eggs and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese melts. Serve immediately and enjoy!
