LR West Speech and Debate has a new State Champion! Caleb Bowman won the final round and was top speaker overall!! Isabella Dunkley was a Quarter finalist and was 3rd overall in Extemporaneous Speaking! They also won the 1 minute team debate event! #beyourbestatwest @lrsd

To close out our Eclipse Week, students received eclipse glasses from Entergy & participated in Eclipse related activities. They made eclipse t-shirts, & in hand-sewing class they learned how to make little galaxy bags. Thank you to our PTSA for donating Moon Pies & Sunny D’s!
