New Cellphone Policy – Act 122 (Middle School Only)
A new law passed by the legislature, Act 122, states that middle school students may not have cell phones out while on campus.
Here’s what you need to know:
• Middle school students will place their phones in Yondr Pouches upon arrival.
• Phones remain locked in the pouch during the school day.
• At dismissal, students will unlock their pouches using a special magnet.
• A flyer explaining Yondr is attached.
• A video demonstration by Dr. Wright is available on our school website and social media pages.
Elementary students must keep phones turned off and stored in backpacks. Failure to comply with the law will result in disciplinary action.
