Dear 8th grade Parents and Caregivers,
8th graders who receive either an in-school or out-of-school suspension, will not get to go to either the 8th-grade grade field trip to Memphis or attend the 8th-grade formal dance.

Attention Cloverdale students, If you think you have basketball skills, come put them to the test. We want to see your best jump shots, crossovers, layups, and slam dunks in the Student vs. Staff basketball game on Friday, March 15. Please scan the QR Code on the posters located in the hallway or in the cafeteria. All students are welcome to play. If you want to see all the excitement of your classmates' tickets are $5 and can be purchased during lunch. Tickets will be on sale starting March 6. There are a set number of tickets so don’t miss out. 6th graders you may pay Coach Gordon, 7th Grade Ms. Miller, and 8th grade Mrs. Williams.

The Sneaker Ball is Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 5-7. Tickets are $10 and will be on sale during lunch. Tickets include the dance, the concert, a slice of pizza, and a drink. There will be a location to change clothes after school for those who would rather stay to attend the dance, but you MUST have a signed permission slip to stay after school. Permission slips will be given out when you purchase your ticket and must be returned to your advisory teacher.

“Attention parents and students of Cloverdale,
The yearly summative ATLAS test for Cloverdale students will begin on Monday, March 4th. Students will be tested on writing from March 4th through March 6th. 6th Grade will test Monday March 4th, followed by 7th Grade March 5th, and 8th grade March 6th. Makeup testing for the writing portion of the ATLAS test will take place until March 15th. Any students late or absent on their designated test day will be tested in the makeup window. Please ensure your student sleeps properly and has a light breakfast every day during the testing window. The reading, science, and math portions of the ATLAS test will be administered starting April 15th. For more information about the ATLAS test please check your student's school-wide Schoology page. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
