“Attention parents and students of Cloverdale,
The yearly summative ATLAS test for Cloverdale students will begin on Monday, March 4th. Students will be tested on writing from March 4th through March 6th. 6th Grade will test Monday March 4th, followed by 7th Grade March 5th, and 8th grade March 6th. Makeup testing for the writing portion of the ATLAS test will take place until March 15th. Any students late or absent on their designated test day will be tested in the makeup window. Please ensure your student sleeps properly and has a light breakfast every day during the testing window. The reading, science, and math portions of the ATLAS test will be administered starting April 15th. For more information about the ATLAS test please check your student's school-wide Schoology page. Southwest High School Cheer & Dance Tryouts mandatory Informational Parent Meeting in the Southwest High School cafeteria on February 26th at 6:00 PM

If you can do death drops, pop-ups, and flips, we want you to become a member of the 2024-2025 Cheer and Dance team for the new Marian G. Lacey Academy. If you are interested, please come to tryouts beginning Tuesday, February 27 - Monday, March 4. We will meet in the Cloverdale cafeteria at 4:15. Please bring workout clothes and tennis shoes. Hair must be tied up. NO JEANS or CROCS are allowed. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Williams in room 34.

AVID and Aerospace Night will be Tuesday, February 27th at 5:00 pm in the Cloverdale Cafeteria. The grade level with the most parents attending will receive an incentive. Also, light refreshments will be served.
LRSD & Caissa kick off phase two of the partnership to recruit/retain students. Caissa enrollment specialists will be contacting families this weekend. If you get emails or calls/texts from 501-503-3168, 501-512-1656, or 501-260-7244 -they are legitimate communication from LRSD.

Parent Conference Day is Tuesday, February 20th from 4:15-7:15. Spanish interpreters will be available at those times. Conferences are set up in 15-minute intervals with one of your child’s teachers, but all teachers will be available. If you do not get to speak to a specific teacher, don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher to schedule a conference during his/her prep. Conferences will be held in the following locations: · Media Center – 6th-grade teachers · Cafeteria – 7th, 8th, and related arts teachers.
