Hello, Parents:
Due to a partial power outage in part of the building, Cloverdale will have to close today. Entergy has been working overnight to restore power to the impacted area, with the anticipation that we would be able to have class today. But we have learned that the period of time for restoring power may be extended. So, out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of students and staff, we made the decision to close. Buses have been notified and will pick up students to return them home. For those who drop your students off, please make plans to pick them up. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for understanding. The formal dance will take continue as planned at 6:00. We look forward to seeing our 8th graders. All field trips scheduled for today are canceled.

However, if you are serving a sanction on Friday, May 10th, the day of the dance, with either an In-School (Ozone) or Out-of-School-Suspension, you will not be able to attend. The Lady Tiger’s Volleyball Coaching Staff would like to invite any incoming female student who has been assigned to and accepted at LR Central for the 2024-2025 school year to our Central High School Freshmen Volleyball Tryouts on Monday, May 5th from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Athletes must bring (or have already turned in) a current physical, an Assignment letter, and a Letter of consent to try out.

The Cloverdale Fine Arts Department presents the Spring Fine Arts Showcase on Tuesday, April 30th in the Grand Auditorium at Southwest High School. At 5:30 PM there will be a silent art auction and at 6:00 PM the Band and Choir will perform. Come join us in our farewell celebration of Cloverdale.

Attention 8th-grade girls who are attending Little Rock Southwest High School. If you would like to be a part of the S3 Band's Majorette Team the Satin Divas or the Sophisticated Silks Flag line auditions will be held Wednesday, April 24- Friday, April 26 from 4:30-6:30 pm. Please come prepared to dance, move, and learn. A uniform of white top, black bottoms, and athletic shoes are required. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Williams in room 34.
