The Arkansas Department of Human Services has partnered with the Arkansas Department of Education to provide summer food benefits (S-EBT) to certain households. These benefits can help families buy food to provide meals for their children during the summer and will be available on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card and can be used like SNAP benefits. Each approved child will receive a one-time issuance of $120.00 for the summer of 2024. A S-EBT card will be issued for each approved child. Visit ar.gov/summerebt for more information. Dr. Marian G. Lacey Academy Band presents The Dazzling Flames Majorette Team. If you are interested in majorette dance and have the heart of an athlete, we invite you to join our team! The clinic will be on Monday, May 20th through Thursday, May 23rd from 4:15 to 6:00. Try out Friday, May 24th from 4:15 to 6:00. Doors will lock at 4:20 PM, please be on time. Daily attire should be workout clothes and tennis shoes.

Good afternoon 8th Grade Parents and Guardians
This is a friendly reminder of this week’s events. On Thursday, May 16, 2024, the promotion ceremony will be at Southwest High School Gymnasium located at 9715 Mabelvale Pike in Little Rock, AR. Students will need to be there by 5:15 PM. Students should be in black and white. We are asking that the young ladies not wear stiletto-style shoes because of the slippery flooring. We are guests at this venue. That said, balloons, flowers, or posters are NOT allowed inside the venue.

Dr. Marian G. Lacey Middle School will hold an interest meeting for football and volleyball this Wednesday, May 15th, at 5:30 in the Cloverdale Cafeteria.
Attention 8th Grade girls. The Lady Tiger’s Volleyball Coaching Staff would like to invite any incoming female student who has been assigned to and accepted at LR Central for the 2024-2025 school year to our Central High School Freshmen Volleyball Tryouts on Monday, May 5th from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Athletes must bring (or have already turned in) a current physical, an Assignment letter, and a Letter of consent to try out.
