Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to celebrate our students at the Student Achievement Ceremonies! 🎉 It was such a heartwarming experience as teachers and students came together to recognize and celebrate each other’s hard work and dedication. The energy was amazing, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership of our student leaders who hosted the event. 🙌 A huge thank you to them for their efforts! We were also thrilled to have many parents join us for this special occasion, and we hope to see even more at our next Achievement Assembly in April. 💫

Today, Chicot scholars enjoyed a visit from First Security Bank and bank mascot Penny Pockets to kick-off our Chicot Bank and further our financial literacy efforts! Scholars are learning about money, the importance of saving, needs and wants, and so much more. Tomorrow, information will be sent home that allows our students to start their very own bank account. In addition, our 5th grade leaders will serve as tellers and learn related skills. Thanks to First Security Bank and the Arkansas Securities Department for their support of this real world learning experience. Stay tuned for our official bank grand opening!

Good afternoon, Thank you for your patience at dismissal. We had a pull station activated that caused our fire alarm to go off. While there was not emergency, we recognize this situation delayed our dismissal of students. We appreciate your understanding and are working to address the issue.
