Good Afternoon Chicot Families,
On Monday, April 22nd, our new elementary car loop opens for use. Changing to the new loop now will assist us in no longer interferring with neighborhood traffic and allow us to make sure all systems are working well when we return for the 2024-2025 school year. Safety and Security will also be onsite to assist us with this transition. An image of the new traffic flow is attached. You will note that only families of early childhood students (3 & 4 year olds) will continue to drop-off/pick-up as they have all school year. While all families of elementary car riders (K-5) will use the new car rider loop, students will still be dropped off/picked up at the same main door for elementary. We will simply use our new and improved route to get to the same location. Thank you in advance for your patience during this transition. If you have any questions, please call (501) 447-7000.

What can you expect during our Plant Sale Week? CALS, Mamás Unidas LR, Little Rock Zoo, City Year Little Rock, and FoodCorps Arkansas will help us beautify our school grounds. We will have a butterfly garden installation. Our school garden will be prepared for the spring/summer.
Can't volunteer? Stop by to purchase plants for your home. We will have vegetable and flower plants.

We need you to sign your students up for the Enrichment Program here at Chicot! If they are going to Camp Can Do they can still sign up for the Chicot 21st Century program!
Chicot 21st Century Summer Enrichment Program Application is still open for students in grades K, 1, 2, and 3 and 4. Dates for program will be Monday, June 10, 2024- Friday, June 28, 2024. Time for the program is 8 am - 1pm. No programming on Wednesday, June 19,2024. Selected students will be able to participate in academics and in many fun enrichment activities such as: art, dance, DRAMA, computers, tennis, STEM, broadcasting, soccer, and much more.
