Choose a time during the day, and when the time comes, drop what you're doing and dive into a good book! 📖

School will start in just a few weeks! Beat the crowds and begin your school uniform shopping now. There are no changes for this year. Students may wear polos of any color. Unform bottoms allowed are khaki, navy, or jeans (not distressed or disturbed). Spirit shirts can be worn on Fridays. Hoodies should be of solid color (no design) or Chicot logo hoodies.

Reminder! In observance of Juneteenth, all schools and offices within the Little Rock School District are closed today. Enjoy this meaningful holiday!
CALS is giving away 100 free bikes and helmets TODAY hosted by Dee Brown Library, Recycle Bikes for Kids, and Little Rock Parks and Recreation.
Kids aged 16 years and under are invited to come to the Southwest Little Rock Community Center to receive a free bike. New helmets will be distributed courtesy of Arkansas Children's Hospital Safety Office.
They will also have a free bike parade and activities.
Bikes for the first 100 kids are first come, first served. The child receiving a bike must be present with an adult.

Community Resource: Remember this Tuesday, June 4, we start our English course with a duration of 10 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. This course is an advanced basic level, especially for those students who have already completed at least 3 months of classes with us or want to continue learning and are considered a basic level. We hope to see you at 5500 Geyer Spring Road, Little Rock Arkansas 72209.
Reminder! We will distribute food boxes tomorrow at 3:15 PM. They will be bulky boxes to help with summer food.
Students who bring home a weekly bag of groceries are getting special boxes. They are 30 pounds. A parent or caregiver needs to pick up the box. We have a roster of student names. Friday is the last day to get your box. Please pick up from the Parent Center.
