LRSD wants to hear from you! The Little Rock School District is inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to join upcoming community meetings focused on the FY27 budget. These conversations are a chance to learn more about district priorities, ask questions, and share feedback before final decisions are made. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Rd). The second meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Henderson (401 John Barrow Rd). Both meetings will cover the same information. Please join me in congratulating ACC's first graduate of 2026 Mr. Xavier Hall!!!!!

Dear ACC Parents,
We hope that your year is starting off well. We wanted to share our expectations moving forward with regard to progression through coursework at ACC. As a reminder students are to attend in person each day. Further students are expected to complete at least 8-10% of a course each day to be considered on track. Students are able to complete work at home, but test are to be done at school only. I am including a flyer that has this information on it.

If your student rides the bus home in the afternoon, they will need to be dismissed at 1:20. ACC will otherwise operate on its regular schedule and dismiss at 4 pm. Your student is welcome to remain, but transportation will not be provided.
Sincerely,
Eric Henderson

Dear Parents and Guardians,
The staff at ACC and the Hall-West High School is committed to creating a learning environment where students are fully engaged and focused on their academic success. To support this effort, we utilize Yondr pouches to secure student cell phones and other personal electronic devices during the school day.
Beginning September 25, 2025, we will implement an updated process for Yondr pouches:
Assigned Pouches: Each student will be issued a numbered Yondr pouch. This pouch will be their personal responsibility throughout the school year.
Daily Procedure:
Students will secure their devices in the pouch at the start of the school day, either at the bus drop off or at the front when they enter the school.
Pouches will be unlocked at the end of their 4th block class each day.
Students will take their pouch home each afternoon and are expected to bring it back each day.
Forgotten Pouches: If a student does not bring their pouch to school or fails to secure their phone in their pouch, their device will be labeled, locked away by school staff, and returned to the student at the end of the school day. Students who violate the policy repeatedly will be held accountable according to the district guidelines.
Lost or Damaged Pouches: As stated in the district guidelines provided at the start of the school year, students are responsible for replacing lost or damaged pouches. The replacement cost is $30 per pouch and can be paid via Schoolcashonline.com.
Other electronic devices: We ask that all other electronic devices (iPads, tablets, headphones, etc.) remain at home.
We ask for your support in reinforcing these expectations with your student. Together, we can ensure that classroom time remains dedicated to learning and free from unnecessary distractions.
If you have any questions, parents of Hall-West High School students please contact Ms. Howard at 501-447-1908. Parents of ACC students may contact Mr. Henderson at 501-447-2010.
Thank you for your partnership in helping us maintain a focused and productive learning environment for all students.
