🎣 Hooked on Learning — and Fishing! 🐟 Western Hills Elementary School students had an unforgettable day at Boyle Park for the 4th Annual Fishing Derby, organized by beloved P.E. teacher and fishing enthusiast Coach Amy Kennedy! 🐟 With poles in hand and excitement in the air, 1st through 5th graders tried their luck at catching catfish in a pond freshly stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. For many, it was their very first catch — and the smiles said it all!

🏈💙 Big dreams do come true! Fulbright Elementary 4th graders got a surprise visit from Jackson Woodard, who was just drafted by the Seattle Seahawks! Jackson was once a 4th grade student of Fulbright teacher Mrs. Jennifer Dilday, and during that time, he wrote a paper about wanting to play in the NFL. Yesterday, he returned to share his story and inspire the next generation—proof that with hard work and determination, dreams can become reality! 🌟

A collage features NFL player Jackson Woodard and his visit to Fulbright Elementary. Left side of the image: A stylized graphic of Jackson Woodard in football gear appears at the bottom left, wearing a black jersey with the number 33 and the word "WARRIORS" across the chest. Above is a childhood handwritten assignment titled “God Wants Me to Be...” written on lined paper. The paper reads: "God wants me to be… when I grow up He wants me to be a pro football player because of the gift He gave me. God informed me that if I want to go to the NFL it would be a good road for me because I love football. It may be fun or maybe I will fit in. I look up to pro footballer Ed Eric Leonard because he is a good dad. God came to me and blessed me to be a good person in football and a good leader." The name JACKSON WOODARD is printed in bold at the top. Below is the Seattle Seahawks logo and a location stamp reading: “WARRIORVILLE, AR 34.81309, -92.48086.” Right side of the image: Three smaller photos are stacked vertically: Jackson Woodard stands at the front of a classroom with Fulbright teacher Mrs. Jennifer Dilday, speaking to a group of seated 4th grade students. Jackson poses and smiles with Mrs. Dilday in front of a colorful bulletin board that reads “READ.” Another shot of Jackson and Mrs. Dilday addressing the students, with Jackson standing tall and smiling.
