🏆 Little Rock Southwest High School DECA Marketing students had an outstanding showing at the State Career Development Conference in Hot Springs! Kaitlyn Braswell, Kayla Caldwell, Omarai Williams, Sapharia Dobbins, and Deonta Mitchell each received a medallion in their respective events. Jonathan Worrell placed 2nd in the state in Human Resource Management, earning a glass plaque and a spot at the National Conference in Orlando, Florida. Out of 28 students who auditioned, 18 earned a spot, with 17 scoring 20/26 or higher in sight-reading— including nine perfect scores! 👏🎵 These talented vocalists, led by director Christy Fudge, will showcase their skills at the All-State Clinics and Concerts on February 20-22 in Hot Springs. Central High School students participate in their annual STEM Fair
LRSD students made a strong showing at the District V FBLA Spring Leadership Conference, bringing home top awards in multiple events. Several chapters representing JA Fair, Mann, Pinnacle View, and Pulaski Heights middle schools earned recognition for membership growth, and students placed in categories like Business Graphics, Public Speaking, Website Design, and Career Exploration. With numerous top-five finishes and newly elected student leaders, LRSD’s future business leaders are now preparing to compete at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in April. Congratulations to all participants!
