🏆 Congratulations to Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School's Robotics Team! This past Saturday, they competed in the 2024 BEST Robotics Competition, “Low G,” at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After weeks of hard work, they took home 3rd place awards. They’ll now advance to the Best of Texas Regional Championship!

Third graders from Carver STEAM Magnet Elementary School - LRSD had an out-of-this-world experience at the UCA Planetarium in Conway! 🌌 They explored constellations and uncovered some of the universe's mysteries—an unforgettable dive into the wonders of space!


Last week, Roberts Elementary students Kyndal Brasfield and Kayson Jefferson were crowned Little Miss and Little Mister UAPB at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Coronation Ball! 🎉 They’ll proudly represent UAPB at football and basketball games, parades, and other special events. Congratulations to these young leaders! 🖤💛


🎉 Congratulations to Hall-West High School of Innovation seniors Ian Ratcliff and Joshua Morehart for earning top speaker awards at the debate tournament! 🏆 Their impressive achievement has secured them a bid to the Arkansas State Championship. Election Day wasn’t just for adults this year—LRSD students took part in mock elections and voting activities across several campuses! From choosing student government representatives to casting votes in creative mock elections, our students had hands-on experiences that brought civic engagement to life.

Omari received the National First Generation Award, and Jonathan earned the National African American Award. Proud of these students!


Thank you to all the staff and students who joined in on last week's Halloween celebrations across LRSD!
