The Little Rock School District (LRSD) is inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to participate in upcoming community meetings as part of the District’s Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) budget development process.

These meetings will give the community an opportunity to learn more about LRSD’s financial priorities, understand the decisions ahead, and share feedback before final budget decisions are made.

Community input is an important part of this process and helps District leaders and the Board of Education understand how budget decisions may impact students, families, and schools. These conversations reflect LRSD’s commitment to transparency, especially when the choices ahead are difficult.

The public is encouraged to attend one of the two meetings below:

  • Tuesday, February 17, 5:30 p.m., Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Rd, Little Rock)

  • Thursday, February 19, 5:30 p.m., Henderson (401 John Barrow Rd, Little Rock)

Both meetings will provide the same information. LRSD encourages families, staff, students, and community partners to attend, ask questions, and share their perspectives as the District works to plan responsibly for the future.
