Dr. Shana Loring

The Little Rock School District is proud to announce that Dr. Shana Loring, LRSD’s Assistant Superintendent for High School Transformation and Postsecondary Readiness, has been selected as a 2025–2026 Fellow for the Fellowship for Public Education Leadership, hosted by The Broad Center at the Yale School of Management.

This national fellowship is designed for senior-level public education leaders from across the country who are deeply committed to advancing equity and excellence in public school systems. Dr. Loring is one of only 19 leaders chosen to join this year’s cohort.

As part of the fellowship, Dr. Loring will participate in intensive, weeklong modules held at Yale, where she will engage in management research, connect with top practitioners, and collaborate with fellow leaders to develop innovative strategies that can be applied directly to public education systems. The program emphasizes peer learning and transformative leadership to better serve students and communities.

Dr. Loring leads efforts to support all LRSD high schools, student support services, and alternative learning programs. She is committed to empowering students through academic achievement and civic engagement.

LRSD congratulates Dr. Loring on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to the impact her continued leadership and national collaboration will bring to our district.
