Charlotte Cook-Bomar

Watson Elementary is proud to celebrate our Gifted and Talented teacher, Mrs. Charlotte Cook-Bomar, who has been selected as the 2025 E. Paul Torrance Creativity Award recipient by the Creativity Network of the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC).

The prestigious Torrance Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to enhancing and spreading creativity, particularly among gifted children, and who embody the spirit of creative thinking in their own work. Sponsored by the Future Problem-Solving Program International (FPSPI), this national award highlights Mrs. Bomar’s dedication to fostering creativity and innovation in the classroom.

Mrs. Bomar will be honored at the upcoming NAGC Convention later this year. This recognition not only reflects her outstanding commitment to students at Watson Elementary but also shines a spotlight on the excellence of educators across the Little Rock School District.

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Bomar for this well-deserved honor and grateful for the positive impact she continues to have on our students and school community.
