LRSD schools will be closed for students Mon., Feb. 2, due to icy conditions impacting bus routes. Employees will report to work: non-school. staff - 8:30-4:00; school-based staff 8:30-3:30 p.m. Road conditions will be checked again Mon. & families will be notified about the status of school for Tuesday.

These conversations are a chance to learn more about district priorities, ask questions, and share feedback before final decisions are made. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Rd). The second meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Henderson (401 John Barrow Rd). Both meetings will cover the same information. Come be part of the conversation as we plan responsibly for the future of LRSD.

Good morning, Parents:
We want to let you know there is a power outage affecting three of our campuses in southeast Little Rock - Mann, Rockefeller, and Carver-Washington. Entergy crews are already on-site working to fix the problem. While we don’t yet have an exact time for when power will be restored, crews expect to have it back on soon.
School will continue as normal, and we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
