We are still in dress code- students should not wear pajamas/slides/ or any revealing clothing.
Students should clean their backpacks and leave them at home. Please check their rooms for library books.
Students need a writing utensil.

Hello Skyhawk Families! We are excited for tomorrow's 8th Grade festivities! Please read for important details. Promotion begins at 9:15 AM. Doors will open at 8:15 AM. PLEASE HAVE YOUR ID READY. PLEASE DO NOT DROP SIBLINGS/RELATIVES TO SCHOOL AND THEN ATTEMPT TO CHECK THEM OUT; PLEASE KEEP THEM WITH YOU IN THE LINE. Enter at Gym from large parking lot on West side of building. PLEASE HAVE IDs READY FOR EVERYONE AGE 18+. NO ADMITTANCE WITHOUT ID. Please be patient as we work to get through the line as quickly as possible. We are excited to celebrate all our 8th Grade Skyhawks! 8th Grade Dance begins at 6:30 PM. Doors will not open until 6:30 PM. 8th grade PVMS students only. Dance ends at 8:30 PM.
All library books are now due. There are 124 overdue books still at large...
Announcements have been made, notices have been handed out, and emails have been sent. Please help your student locate their overdue book and return it in order to avoid any lost book fines. Thank you so much for your help with this.

As we head into the final days of the school year at PVMS, we are so proud of everything our 8th graders have accomplished. This is such an exciting time as they prepare for the transition to high school!
However, with the finish line in sight, we’ve noticed some students becoming a bit too relaxed regarding school rules and daily expectations. We want to ensure that these final days remain positive and productive for everyone.
We are asking for your help in speaking with your student about the importance of finishing strong. Please remind them that continued disregard for school expectations—including Category 1 rules—may unfortunately result in the loss of eligibility to attend our upcoming 8th Grade Field Day and the 8th Grade Dance.
These celebrations are milestones we want every student to enjoy, and enforcing these consequences is the last thing we want to do. Let’s work together to make sure every student ends their time at PVMS on a high note, showing the leadership and character we know they possess.
Thank you for your ongoing support and for talking with your student tonight.

Today, we begin the last round of ATLAS testing. We will take Math today, Science tomorrow, and finish out the week with any makeup testing. Please help us by getting your student on time today as we will begin promptly at 9am. We are almost at the finish line!

We will begin ATLAS testing tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM sharp. It is very important that all students are present, on time, and ready to begin promptly so they can do their very best.
To help your child feel confident and prepared for this important summative assessment, here are a few helpful tips:
✅ Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep
✅ Provide a healthy breakfast in the morning or encourage them to eat a FREE breakfast at school!
✅ Help them to arrive on time and relaxed
✅ Remind them to take their time and read questions carefully
✅ Send them with a positive mindset
✅ Ensure that they do not bring any personal electronics
This is the final ATLAS test and most important one of the school year. Let’s make it a great testing experience!
