Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to inform you that student’s reading level letter (in accordance with ACT 940) will be sent home beginning this week. This letter provides information about your child’s reading level and is intended to support their continued growth and success in reading.
Please note that reading levels are one of several tools used to guide instruction and monitor student progress. They do not represent your child’s overall academic ability but rather assist teachers with planning classroom instruction to meet individual learning needs.
If you have questions or concerns after reviewing your child’s letter, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s classroom teacher or school’s Instructional Lead Teacher, Adrian Booker, (adrian.booker@lrsd.org or 501-447-3238) for additional clarification and guidance.
