Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School extends its deepest gratitude to Head Football Coach Bradford Bolding for his eight years of exemplary service and leadership. Coach Bolding has accepted a new position as the Head Football Coach at North Little Rock High School, and while we are saddened to see him go, we wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter of his career.
During his tenure at Parkview, Coach Bolding demonstrated unwavering dedication and tireless commitment to the success of our football program. His leadership not only brought out the best in our student-athletes but also instilled a culture of excellence, resilience, and teamwork throughout the school community. LRSD achieves significant milestone based on latest ATLAS assessment results/cut scores. Div. of Elem&Sec. Ed at ADE announced that LRSD has surpassed the performance threshold outlined by the State & will no longer be required to participate in quarterly Act 1082 check-ins.

Out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with surrounding districts, LRSD’s Safety and Security team, First Student Transportation, and the National Weather Service, LRSD will close schools and offices on Thursday and Friday, January 9-10, 2025, due to anticipated inclement weather. Forecasters predict significant freezing/snow conditions moving into our area starting tomorrow. All athletic events are also canceled. In making weather-related decisions, LRSD prioritizes the safety of students and staff.
LRSD staff, please monitor your emails for additional instructions from our Human Resources Department.

Last week, Superintendent Dr. Jermall Wright held engaging discussions with students at Hall-West, Little Rock Southwest, and Parkview and Central High Schools about cell phone usage in schools. Students shared valuable insights on how cell phones impact their academics and activities. These conversations are helping shape the district’s approach to creating a positive learning environment.
