Dear Parents/Guardians:

We want to hear about your experience with your student’s education. We invite you to participate in completing the School Climate Survey. This survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your attitudes about the institutional environment and your personal involvement in school.

Your responses will be very helpful in improving student relationships, learning conditions, and the overall school environment. Beginning today, 2/2/26, we invite all parents, guardians, and caretakers to complete this survey for our school. The survey is completely anonymous and brief; it contains 21 questions and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Please submit your responses by 2/20/26.

All your responses are completely anonymous. We have no way to connect you to your answers, and results will only be reported as group responses. There are no right or wrong answers. We just want to know about your personal experiences. Responses are housed securely in an anonymous format with the University of Oregon Technical Assistance Center projects for evaluation research purposes. All evaluation research projects are in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, (343 CFR 99.31 (6)) and human subjects regulations (Protection of Human Subjects 45 CFR 46).

As you respond to each item, think about your own personal experiences as a parent, caregiver or guardian at your student’s school. Please answer all of the questions, or your answers won’t be recorded, but you can mark “I prefer not to answer” if you don’t want to answer a question about you.

We hope you will take the time to provide us with this valuable information. Feel free to call our office at [501.447.3100] if you have any questions. Each school’s total survey results will be used to inform and develop appropriate strategies, procedures, and/or programs to enhance our school climate.

Thank you for your time and participation!

Graphic from Little Rock School District titled “Optimizing Our Tomorrow: Budget Conversations – Community Meetings.” The top of the image shows the Little Rock School District logo and name over a blue background with charts and data visuals. The graphic explains that the Fiscal Year 2027 budget priorities include spending only the money the District actually has, adjusting staff levels to match student enrollment, cutting overall spending to address long-term budget gaps, building a healthier savings balance for future financial challenges, and protecting programs, people, and resources that matter most to students and classrooms. The graphic invites all community members, especially parents, students, staff, and families, to participate in discussions about the future of the District and its budget. It emphasizes that community feedback is important and reflects the District’s commitment to transparency and listening. The bottom of the graphic lists two community meeting dates: February seventeenth, evening session at five thirty p.m. at Southwest Community Center; and February nineteenth, evening session at five thirty p.m. at Henderson.

Greetings families! Next week, we will begin taking our ATLAS Interim Assessments. Students will be tested in ELA, Math, and Science. It is important that our students get a great night's rest and that they all show up on time so they can be successful on each exam. We will offer incentives to students who arrive on time, give their all on the test, and have no behavioral issues during the test. The testing calendar is attached. Let's help our students score a 1060 (grade-level score) on each exam.

Testing Schedule: ATLAS Testing Schedule.
