Dear Parents, Staff, and Guardians, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you about an incident that occurred today near our school premises. Earlier, gunshots were reported at the apartments next door. At the time, some of our classes were outside. However, our staff acted swiftly and efficiently, ensuring that all children were brought safely inside the building. We immediately implemented our safety protocols, notifying law enforcement and other staff members. The school went into lockdown while an investigation was conducted. Once it was confirmed that there was no danger to Geyer Springs Early Childhood Center, the lockdown was lifted. We are incredibly grateful to our staff, students, and parents for their quick response and adherence to our safety procedures. Your cooperation and support were instrumental in ensuring everyone's safety. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in our commitment to providing a safe learning environment for your children.
