Congratulations to our Fulbright Mathlete teams who competed Tuesday night! Team 2 placed 8th and Team 1 placed 10th. All team members earned individual trophies and both teams earned a trophy for the Fulbright trophy case.
A huge thank you to our amazing basketball team for an incredible season! Your hard work, dedication, and team spirit made us all so proud. Whether on the court or cheering from the sidelines, each of you played a special role in making this season a success. Keep practicing, keep believing, and keep having fun! Good morning! LRSD is monitoring the forecast for our area in consultation with the National Weather Service, the District's Safety and Security team, and neighboring districts. An announcement will be made about the status of schools for Tuesday by early afternoon today.
During Library, Our K-2 students read "Knight Owl" which has been nominated for the AR Diamond Book Award this year. Then they began learning about owls. Our culminating activity was to get to hear from AGFC Rick Fields who works at the AR River Delta Nature Center in Pine Bluff and he even brought Gonzo to visit! We had a hootin' good time!

LRSD achieves significant milestone based on latest ATLAS assessment results/cut scores. Div. of Elem&Sec. Ed at ADE announced that LRSD has surpassed the performance threshold outlined by the State & will no longer be required to participate in quarterly Act 1082 check-ins.
