The Mardi Gras theme continued this week as Carver-Washington held a Math, Literacy, SEL, STEAM night on March 4.
Students and families came together to participate in and learn about academic games and supports that can be done at home.
Students were able to visit several classrooms to join in various activities with a math, literacy, social-emotional, or STEAM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math). Various community partners were at the event sharing their resources, the Scholastic Book Fair was in full swing, and supports and everyone enjoyed a meal and brought home food pantry items and prizes.
