On March 1 students, staff, and family members of both Carver and Washington Elementary Schools came together to represent the soon to be Carver-Washington STEAM Magnet Elementary School at the SoMardi Gras parade and festival.
They proudly walked behind the new school banner, cheerleaders performed during the parade, and staff members talked to festival goers about the exciting programming that will be at Carver-Washington next year.
